When someone makes a Facebook post, you can offer love and a hug at the same time. There are two ways to give a virtual hug to someone via their post. The first is an emoji hug, and the second is with a GIF.

  1. Log in your Facebook account.
  2. Click or tap on the post you wish to leave the emoji hug.
  3. Underneath the post is the thumbs up symbol with the word Like beside it.
  4. Hover over this icon with your mouse or if using a cellphone or touchscreen press and hold your finger over the icon.
  5. The choices of emojis pop up in the display and you want to choose the emoji face hugging a heart to its chest.

  2. A screen will pop up with a search bar at the top.

  4. You can use the vertical scroll bar on the right side to browse through the GIFs. If you prefer, you can simply use your finger to scroll through. (Be careful not to accidentally add the wrong GIF and have to delete it.)
  5. When you find the GIF you wish to use, just tap on it and it will automatically be posted.

  1. Click/tap on the circle with a plus sign located to the right of the arrow.
  2. This will pull up the sticker store featuring groups of free stickers.
  3. You can preview the group of stickers and if you wish to add to your library, then click Free. The stickers are automatically added to your library. The group icon will appear in the top bar.
  4. In the top search bar, type the word, hug, and all the hug stickers for your groups will appear with a vertical scroll bar on the right side.
  5. Click/tap on the sticker you want, and it will send it as a comment to the post.

You can find various eCards, some free, some requiring an annual membership through various companies, such as Hallmark Cards, Blue Mountain, and American Greetings.
