I lost my son 3yrs ago.I thought my world was gone.I have 2 other sons but noone can take the place of the one i lost.these poems make me sad&cry but at the same time it helps to cry

I lost both my grandparents within a year of each other. When they died they took a huge part of me with them.These poems always make me cry yet I find myself returning to read them time and time again.There is a certain comfort in crying from reading these poems. Thank you.

My cousin die last year on dec 30th. He was trying to protect his sister from these two guys and they shot him in the head. My cousin died in surgery a few hours after. He was such a happy person, the only time i didnt see him smiling was in his coffin. So when i read the poem on this page (He only took my hand) it touched me. Me and my family are christians so i know where he is, I just want to say we love u Jerome Castro and ur never forgotten....Feb 1,1987 - Dec 30, 2007

My 60 year old father passed away very suddenly on Oct 3 2008, and my whole personality is/was based on his hobbies. I am so lost without him and am having a very hard time; however, the poem When I Must Leave You is beautiful and helps my heart!!!! Tash White-Clayton

I am so very sorry about the loss of your little boy. I know how hard the holidays -- especially Christmas -- can be. Please be gentle to yourself and may you find some peace as the new year begins.
